Re-purposing vintage kitchen tools onto a wreath...Well, it doesn't get much easier to add farmhouse style! Farmhouse touches in decorating are still very much on trend. This DIY wreath, lets you put all those chippy-vintage kitchen gadgets to good use, while being fashionably "farmhouse" forward! For this project you'll need about 15 vintage kitchen gadgets/tools, a wreath form, wire and wire cutters and a little ribbon is always optional.
I love using the red-handled vintage cooking tools. Vintage cookie cutters and old wooden spoons are great additions too. I pick up a lot of these kitchen items at flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores.
One piece at a time, using fine gauge wire, attach the vintage kitchen tools to the wreath form.
Twist and turn each piece, until you have a wreath full of kitchen gadgets.
Add a little burlap ribbon or other contrasting ribbon to finish the wreath.
I added a little pop of red gingham...it matches the handles and I love gingham... it just works.
Finally, hang up your farmhouse inspired wreath...and enjoy the view!!
