Placemat turns into darling front door Welcome Spring decoration!
Fun, budget friendly DIY!Found these weaved seasonal placemats at my local $store. Too cute to pass up, I had to figure out something to do with it, other than use it as a table placemat (now, that would be boring)!
Looking at it for a few days, I realized that I didn't have a Spring wreath for my front door. So, that placemat turned into this "Welcome Spring" front door wreath.
All the items were purchased at the $stores.
Placemat, raffia, ribbon, gift bag filler or moss, silk flowers, and seasonal decorative eggs.
Weaved the raffia around the inner edge of the placemat.
Shaped it into a cone shape and secured closed with the raffia. Added a bow to the front and a hanger to the back. Filled with silk flower, stuffed with other seasonal decorations.
