Purchased some square white plates from the thrift store

and some little knick knacks. They all were damaged in some way

I wanted to color them with gold metallic paint

and I wanted to get a design on the plate so I took a piece of lace and sprayed it with spray adhesive and smoothed it to the plate

then spray painted them and lifted the lace off. all of them had different designs

I turned the plates over and sprayed the backs and all the animals. I had to spray the animals so you would not notice the damages to them

I stuck on some weather stripping to the bottom to cushion it and make sure it does not scratch furniture.

I gave them to my daughter and daughter inlaws to keep in their kitchen or by the bed to put their rings in when they take them off.
